Boxer 6641 Fanless Embedded Computing

Overview

The BOXER-6641 is designed to provide users with unmatched flexibility and performance. Available with two chipsets, the H310 (BOXER-6641-A1) and C246 (BOXER-6641-A2), the system offers a range of processors from the 8th Generation Intel® Core™ and Xeon® processor family (formerly Coffee Lake), from Celeron® G4900T and Pentium® G5400T up to Xeon® E-2124G (up to 71W). Combined with up to 32GB of ECC or non-ECC DDR4 2666MHz RAM and support for two hard drives, the BOXER-6641 is currently the most powerful fanless industrial system available on the market.

The BOXER-6641 is built to easily integrate into any industrial application. I/O features include six COM ports and up to eight USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (A2 model). The BOXER-6641 also comes with four Intel® Gigabit Ethernet ports, including one Intel® i219 chipset, with built-in support for Intel® vPRO and Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) available on BOXER-6641-A2. The BOXER-6641 is expandable with two mPCIe slots, capable of supporting AI applications with solutions such as AAEON’s AI Core X with Intel® Movidius® Myriad™ X VPU.

The BOXER-6641 is designed with several key features to ensure reliable service in harsh industrial environments. In addition to fanless construction, the BOXER-6641 offers wide voltage input of 10V to 35V, wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 55°C (-20°C to 45°C with 71W processor), and an all-metal chassis. The BOXER-6641 is easy to maintain, with only six screws needed to remove the top heatsink to access the CPU, and removing the bottom panel provides easy access to the memory and storage devices.

BOXER-6641-Pro, a recent addition to our Rugged Embedded BOX PC series, is powered by 9th/8th Generation Intel® Core™ processors (formerly Coffee Lake/Coffee Lake Refresh) to deliver the optimal performance for critical industrial applications. To meet the endurance required by deployments in harsh environments, BOX-6641-Pro supports extended operating temperature from -40°F ~ 158°F (-40°C ~ 70°C). In addition, with graphene adopted in thermal design, the fanless BOX-6641-Pro features far enhanced thermal efficiency to further improve computing performance in real-world applications.

BOXER-6642-CML

The BOXER-6642-CML is the first fanless industrial PC from AAEON to offer the 10th Generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 and Intel® Celeron® processors (up to 35W TDP). Utilizing a socket-type desktop chipset, the system can be easily scaled or upgraded to match the performance needs of any application. Additionally, its slim design, only 54mm thick, allows it to fit into almost any tight space, allowing it to be deployed right where it needs to be.

The BOXER-6642-CML features an M.2 2280 (M-Key) slot driven by PCIe 3.0 [x4] with support for fast NVMe SSDs. It also has an M.2 2230 (E-Key) slot to support Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. The BOXER-6642-CML is built with a full-sized Mini Card slot which supports PCIe and mSATA, set via the BIOS.

The BOXER-6642-CML features fanless design which keeps dust and other contaminants out, allowing reliable, long-lasting operation. It also features a wide voltage input (10 to 35V) and provides consistent operation without loss of performance in temperatures from 0°C up to 45°C.

The BOXER-6642-CML offers a broad range of I/O features including four serial COM ports, four USB3.2 Gen 2 ports, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, providing support for Intel® vPro and Intel® AMT. The BOXER-6642-CML also delivers storage flexibility with NVMe support, mSATA, and 2.5” SATA III (6.0 Gbps) storage devices. The BOXER-6642-CML can also easily connect with cellular networks thanks to onboard SIM card slot, allowing for even more communication flexibility.

BOXER-6643-TGU

The BOXER-6643-TGU brings the power of 11th Generation Intel® Core™ U processors to a compact, rugged platform that delivers greater performance and capabilities over previous generations. The system supports up to 64GB of memory to unlock the full potential of the system’s processing capabilities. Along with the Intel® Iris® Xe embedded graphics, users can leverage the GPU to power AI and Edge Computing industrial applications, or high definition graphics in digital signage and kiosk applications.

The BOXER-6643-TGU features two LAN ports, one 2.5 Gbps and one 1.0 Gbps, ensuring quick communication for real-time processing and control. The system also features expansion slots supporting wireless networks, including Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G cellular communication. Other I/O features include three USB3.2 Gen 2 slots, one USB2.0 slot, dual COM ports and 8-channel DIO.

The BOXER-6643-TGU supports storage options including mSATA and NVMe, and features a SATA III port connected directly to the board, eliminating cables that may come loose in high-vibration environments. The 2.5” SATA drive is easy to install and maintain, with a slide out tray located on the side of the system. Additionally, two easy-access panels on the bottom of the system allows users to quickly add on or upgrade expansion cards and memory modules.

Built to deploy anywhere, the BOXER-6643-TGU is designed with a compact form factor and rugged construction. Fan-less design keeps dust and contaminants out, while also delivering an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. BOXER-6645-ADS

The BOXER-6645-ADS is the most well-equipped embedded box PC available, with up to eight 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 slots for high-speed peripherals, four LAN ports for camera and sensor connectivity, and four independent display outputs for A2 model, making the BOXER-6645-ADS conducive to applications such as traffic management control rooms. Additionally, it is the only PC of its kind with M.2 expansion capability, housing M.2 2230 and M.2 2252 slots to facilitate both Wi-Fi and 5G modules.

Alongside exceptional processing power, the BOXER-6645-ADS comes with a tapestry of integrated peripheral technologies, ranging from Intel® DL Boost to Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics to enable elite AI inferencing performance for smart city and Industry 4.0 solutions.

BOXER-6750

Overview

The compact BOXER-6750 measures only 69mm x 183mm x 155mm and is fitted with the Intel® Core™ i3-6100U or, for customers with lower performance demands, the Intel® Celeron® 3955U. The system also features a DDR4 SODIMM slot for up to 16GB of memory, a 2.5” SATA drive bay, and an optional mSATA slot.

The high-performance PC is perfect for SCADA applications, and with four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two LAN ports, and four COM ports, it can easily be connected to a range of peripheral devices. VGA and HDMI ports also enable dual display output. AAEON can also work with customers to customize the system, giving it up to six USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and six COM ports.

The BOXER-6750 two full-sized mini-Card slots, supporting expansion options such as the AI Core X mPCIe module. Featuring the Intel Movidius Myriad X VPU, the AI Core X turns the BOXER-6750 into a powerful, compact machine vision and computer learning platform.

The BOXER-6750 is also suitable for factory automation solutions and was designed to handle harsh, factory environments. It has an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C and a 9 to 30V power input range.

The AAEON Vision System Embedded Fanless BOXER has been tested and proofed with most industrial cameras and vision control software, adhering to stringent industry standards, and is compatible with multiple cameras on a connected platform. Overview

The BOXER-6841M is designed for AI@Edge and machine vision applications.

Different models feature either PCIe(x16) slots for NVIDIA GPUs – perfect for AI@Edge applications – or PCIe(x8) slots for frame grabber cards. Users can also choose between Intel® Celeron or high-performance Xeon CPUs.

To fulfill the power requirements of high-level GPUs, the BOXER-6841M incorporates a smart design feature: Two 12Vdc power inputs. This feature lowers costs and makes the system more stable by reducing the level of wasted heat.

The BOXER-6841M also boasts a number of AI@Edge features, including five Intel® LAN chips, dual removable HDD, and dual mSATA slots.

BOXER-6842M

Overview

The BOXER-6842M features the 8th and 9th Generation Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 and Xeon® E processors (formerly Coffee Lake/Coffee Lake Refresh), offering top end computing performance. Paired with up to 128 GB of SODIMM memory, the system is designed to deliver the best performance possible to handle processing intensive machine vision and AI Edge server applications.

The BOXER-6842M offers greater expansion and storage options to better enable edge operation and quick analysis. The system can support up to four 2.5” drives (HDDS or SSDss) and features an M.2 2280 PCIe [x4] slot with support for NVMe, allowing faster read/write speeds and more efficient operating system performance.

The BOXER-6842M is available with three PCI Express configurations. The A2 model features one PCIe [x16] and one PCIe [x4] slot; supporting GPU cards up to 250W TDP with a single power supply. The A3 model features two PCIe [x8] (in [x16] form factor) and one PCIe [x4] slots, perfect for frame grabber cards and AI accelerators. The A4 model features the same configuration as the A3, but with wider spacing and dual power inputs to support two GPUs with up to a combined 500W TDP.

The BOXER-6842M is built with several key features to operate in industrial environments. The system features rugged design with wide voltage input (12~24V) and an extensive I/O loadout including six USB3.2 Gen 1 ports, four COM ports, three RJ45 Gigabit LAN ports, and dual HDMI ports; all located on the front of the system to make it easy to manage connections.

NANOCOM-EHL

The NanoCOM-EHL, a COM Express Type 10 CPU Module, to its multiplatform range of products powered by Intel Atom® x6000E, Celeron®, and Pentium® N and J series processors (formerly Elkhart Lake).

The NanoCOM-EHL utilizes power-efficient 12W Intel Atom, Pentium, and Celeron processors with onboard LPDDR4 system memory of up to 16GB on the compact 3.31” x 2.17” (84mm x 55mm) COM Express Type 10 form factor. The module also has the option of 64GB of onboard eMMC storage.

An impressive feat considering its small size is the NanoCOM-EHL™s capacity to host multiple expansion modules via its four PCIe slots, which when combined with its processing power and small form factor makes it suitable for semiconductor test equipment use.
In addition to its power and expandability are the I/O features it contains, with two high-speed (10Gbps) USB 3.2 slots, eight USB 2.0 slots, and a dual LVDS/eDP display output complimenting 2.5GbE and a high-definition audio output interface.

AAEON believe that given its low-power, feature-dense design, the NanoCOM-EHL gives customers an exceptional solution applicable to a number of markets, with smart transport being particularly targeted due to the product™s suitability for passenger information system and streaming control applications.

NANOCOM-TGU

The NANOCOM-TGU from AAEON brings high speed processing, storage and networking to the compact COM Type 10 mini form factor. Powered by the 11th Generation Intel® Core U processors (formerly Tiger Lake), the NANOCOM-TGU delivers unrestricted performance thanks to 16GB onboard LPDDR4x memory and NVMe storage up to 128 GB. It also features the Intel® i225LM chipset, powering 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, as well as support for two SATA III drives, two USB3.2 ports and eight USB2.0 ports. It also features DDI and eDP video out, delivering brilliant graphic performance thanks to Intel® Iris® Xe (on select SKUs). OMNI Modules- Display BOX Kit

Overview

The OMNI Display Box Kit can be used with existing Panel Kits to create a digital display. The module is easy to install – requiring just three screws for attachment to an OMNI panel – and it gives users access to both VGA and HDMI video interfaces. A USB port enables connection to a PC, and built in speakers are available as an option.

Customers who would prefer to take delivery of a pre-assembled Display Box and Panel can buy complete Display Units. (10.4″, 12.1″, 15″, 17″, 19″, 15.6″, 21.5″)

OMNI-2155-CML

The OMNI-2155-CML powered by 10th Generation Intel® Core processors (formerly Comet Lake), is the first in the OMNI family of industrial touch panel PC solutions to offer a socket-type processor, allowing for easier maintenance and scalability to meet the performance needs of individual applications. The system features an M.2 2280 (M-Key) slot driven by PCIe 3.0 [x4] with support for fast NVMe SSDs. It also delivers M.2 2230 (E-Key) to support a range of functions including Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. The OMNI-2155-CML is also built with a full-sized Mini Card slot which supports PCIe and mSATA, set via the BIOS.

The OMNI-2155-CML is built from the ground up for industrial applications. The 15.6” LCD touch screen utilizes the P-CAP system and can be configured to be operable with gloves. It also features a wide voltage input (10 to 35V) and provides consistent operation without loss of performance in temperatures from 0°C up to 45°C.

The OMNI-2155-CML offers a broader range of I/O features, including four serial COM ports, four USB3.2 Gen 2 ports, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, providing support for Intel® vPro and Intel® AMT, enabling remote monitoring and control. The OMNI-2155-CML also offers storage flexibility with NVMe support, mSATA, and 2.5” SATA III (6.0 Gbps) storage devices. The OMNI-2155-CML can easily connect with cellular networks thanks to onboard SIM card slot, allowing for even more flexibility to communicate with wide area networks.

OMNI-215M

Overview

The OMNI Display Series includes panels in seven different sizes- 10.4”, 12.1″, 15″, 17″, 19″, 15.6″ , and 21.5”, and customers can choose between PCAP and resistive touchscreen models. Stylish and robust, the panels are finished with an IP65 aluminum front bezel and feature a variety of power protections. They offer a 12V~30V DC power input range, OVP, UVP, OCP, and reverse power protection, and customers can also choose between terminal block and power jack connections. The panels’ rugged versatility is increased by their -10°C~55°C operating temperature range.

AAEON’s commitment to user-friendly design means the new Display Box Kit only takes minutes to install, as just three screws are used to fasten the kit – or the alternative CPU Box Kit – to the display panel. The new product gives users access to both VGA and HDMI video interfaces, and built in speakers are available as an option.
